Welcome to Eccleston Primary School and Beechbuds Pre-School
It is with great pride that I welcome you to our school. I hope that, as you explore our website, you begin to get a sense of what makes Eccleston such a special place to learn, grow and belong.
From the moment I first visited Eccleston, there was something about the school that stayed with me. I immediately felt welcomed by the warmth of the environment, the people and, most importantly, the children. They were happy, confident and proud of their school, and I knew very quickly that this was somewhere I wanted to be.
At the heart of Eccleston is a belief that every child matters, every child belongs and every child should have the opportunity to thrive. We are proudly inclusive and care deeply about the whole child. Every child should feel safe, happy and valued for who they are, while being encouraged and challenged to achieve their very best. We celebrate individuality, helping our children to discover their strengths, develop confidence and recognise that they each have something special to offer.
Children only get one childhood, and we want their time at Eccleston to be filled with curiosity, discovery, friendship and experiences they will remember. Learning should excite and inspire, with reading at the heart of school life and a rich curriculum that opens children's minds to the world around them. Through all that we do, we aim to inspire independent learners who are ready to thrive in an ever-changing world.
We are incredibly fortunate to learn in such beautiful surroundings. Our extensive outdoor spaces, including our wonderful forest area, The Dell, give children opportunities to explore, investigate and learn beyond the classroom. Alongside the strong relationships between our children, families, staff, governors and the wider Eccleston community, these surroundings help make our school a very special place to be.
Of course, a website can only tell you so much. I warmly invite you to come and visit us, meet our children and staff, explore our school and grounds, and experience for yourself the warmth I felt when I first walked through the door.
