Welcome to Eccleston Primary School and Beechbuds Pre-School
Hello and thank you for visiting our wonderful school’s website, which we hope will give you an insight into who we are. On my first visit to Eccleston Primary School I fell in love with the school, and I know you will too. I hope that you will feel Eccleston Primary School is the school you wish to choose for your child.
Children have just one childhood; we believe their primary school experience should be magical and wondrous, filled with inspirational and unforgettable learning experiences. We aspire for our children to have special and happy memories of their time at Eccleston Primary School and value highly the positive relationships we have built between children, parents, staff, governors and our neighbouring communities.
Here at Eccleston Primary School we aim to prepare your child for a future full of learning which will enable them to play a full and active part in the world they inherit. Kindness, resilience, fairness, relationships and being resourceful are the qualities that we value and believe are essential to cultivating healthy relationships. We commit a lot of time and effort to helping our children and staff be the best versions of themselves. The skills of co-operation, effective communication, confidence, self-discipline and self-motivation support our academic successes and will be key factors in your child’s future life; we look forward to seeing them flourish within our secure and happy environment.
We have a strong passion for developing your child’s creative ability and believe that we should celebrate your child’s talents in all areas of the curriculum. We know that learning should not be compartmentalised and strive to use real purpose for learning to enthuse your child. It is important that children are acknowledged for their individuality and that this is celebrated. We believe that everyone is on an everlasting learning journey. We want to ensure that we are constantly adapting to meet the needs of all of our learners in this exciting and ever-changing society.
Children have a voice at our school. They are encouraged to help make decisions about changes we are making and are given opportunities to be on our School Parliament after a full democratic election. Safeguarding children is very important to us and we take great care in making sure that our policies reflect our practice and procedures.
We welcome you to visit our school and take a good look around, we have an open-door policy, and you will always be welcome here. You are sure to get a feel for what we are all about as soon as you walk in.
